This blog is meant to highlight the moments when I'm the student and my children the teacher in hopes that I can ultimately teach others what I have learned. However while this will remain the focus of my blog I have decided to include some of the things I learn from other aspects of Motherhood.
I'm an Interior Designer:
I consider myself my own Interior Designer (without any formal training I still get to decorate my home). I suppose a less glamorous way to put it is that I am a DoItYourself kind of girl. I'll be posting some of my Pinterest inspired successes as well as my own creations.
Deck The Halls
I'm a Toy Maker:
again I credit my toy making skills to Pinterest.
I'm a Seamstress
I learned the basics of sewing as a young girl from my Aunt who not only made my beautiful prom dresses but also my wedding dress, needless to say she could be considered a professional. Of course I stopped sewing for several years with college and everything. Recently I have picked it up again, and I remembered I like to sew. My skills may be fairly basic but that has not stopped me from whipping up some neat stuff. I have recently discover the trend of up-cycling clothes, which is perfect for basic sewing skills because someone else already did the hard stuff.
I'm a party planner:

I'm a Cook
...or at least I am trying, thanks to cookbooks and blogs. Maybe in the future I will post some of my own cooking successes.
I'm a Mom!
